Ana likes to workout and does some form of physical activity almost every day. Like a lot of actresses we write about she mixes up her workouts or activities to keep it fun and interesting. When her schedule allows Ana often does four sessions in the gym per week and follows a program that is made up by her trainer and involves cardio, weights, bodyweight exercises and circuit training.

Barbell back squat 3 sets of 12 reps

Overhead Press 3 sets of 12 reps

Deadlifts 3 sets of 12 reps

Ab circuit – 3 rounds

Plank 1 min

Crunches 50 reps

Leg raises 25 reps

Flutter kicks 25 reps

HIIT Cardio

15 minutes of hiit cardio where Ana goes hard running for 1 minute and walk one minute and repeats until the 15 minutes are up.

Pushups 3 sets of 5 reps

Ring rows 3 sets of 10 reps

Box Jumps 3 sets of 15 reps


A 5 kilometer jog at a constant speed.

Kickboxing 5 rounds of 1 minute

·       Morning runs

When Ana has a busy schedule and knows she won’t be able to go to the gym she doesn’t mind to substitute the workout for a jog or walk in the morning so she still manages to get some work in for the day.

·       Martial arts

To mix things up when she doesn’t feel like going to the gym she sometimes turns to martial arts like kickboxing or conventional boxing to get a fun workout without having to do the same old regular stuff.

·       Other Activities

Ana De Armas lives an active life even when she isnt working out and likes to go on long walks, bike rides and likes to play sports when she has the opportunity. And it is a great way to kill two birds with one stone as you get a good cardio workout while doing something she enjoys.

Ana has chosen to not follow a specific diet but tries to make as many healthy choices as possible but lets herself indulge in what she likes quite often. This approach works quite well for women like Ana who works out almost every day as that keeps your metabolism high at all times and the body easily handles the extra calories that comes with cheat meals.

A typical day of eating for Ana

Breakfast: For breakfast the actress eats a meal high in protein to give her body the optimal prerequisites for maximum recovery and the added benefit of staying full until lunch. Ana always cooks her breakfast herself so she can adjust the portion sizes as she likes.

Lunch: A Lot of veggies, fruit and whole grain foods and once again a high protein source for lunch. Usually she eats a salad with chicken or salomon.

Dinner: For dinner Ana most often eats the same type of foods as she does for lunch, with grilled or steamed veggies and chicken or salomon.

Snacks: For snacks in between meals Ana turns to fruit and apples are her favorite.

Water intake: The actress is adamant on keeping hydrated throughout the day and tries to drink at least 4 litres of water every day.
